This is a great opportunity to learn proper planting techniques and learn about native plants. Volunteers are needed to assist with planting a butterfly garden sponsored by the Florida Wildflower Foundation, Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation, Butterfly Tampa, Little Red Wagon Native Nursery and Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
Location: 249 Windward Psge, Clearwater, FL
Arrival at 7:45 at Butterfly Tampa if driving with us
And 8:00am if going straight to CMA
Event is expected to last up to 4 hours.
Volunteers will receive a free tour of the facility after the planting.

What to bring/wear:
• Water bottle with water – hydration is important!
• Sunblock/hat – keep your skin safe, this is an outdoor event.
• Hand Sanitizer
• Bug spray – It’s Florida!
• Closed toed shoes
• Long pants recommended but not necessary (see bugs and sun comment above)
• Garden gloves
Volunteers will receive a final email reminder on all the details on Thursday. It will include additional information such as where to park cars, whether you're driving with us or going directly to CMA.
