INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for offering to assist with the Peel Classic 2022. Without your support, we are unable to run such a large event.

Please find the role you would like to volunteer for, click on the role or Sign Up arrow and enter your name and contact information.
If volunteer roles are already taken it will indicate FULL. We will contact you with further information closer to the event date.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONS
Race Director - Mark Glorie
Volunteer Coordinator - Nicholas Connan (0417807612)
Event Hub Support - assist the Volunteer Coordinator with event hub signage, odd jobs, vehicle convoy setup, etc
Registration/Volunteer Desk - assist with signing in registered riders and volunteers and handling race numbers, transponders and equipment.
Timing Operator - manage the electronic timing system and provide results to the Commissaires and Race Director.
Traffic Controllers - MRWA trained and accredited.
Marshal - assist around the event hub with marshaling vehicles and riders.
Lead Vehicle - act as a safety precaution and warning of the approach of the race.
Commissaires - AusCycling trained and accredited.
Spares Vehicle - provide a spare wheel service for the Championship grades.
Sag/Broom Wagon - follow the last rider in the race and provide a transport service back to the finish line if any rider abandons the race.
Official Photographer - photograph the event from fixed and mobile locations, process and upload photos to social media.


NOTES
All volunteers will be provided with a pack containing instructions, vehicle equipment and signage (where required), snacks and drinks.
Convoy vehicle drivers will also receive a payment to cover fuel costs.

We will allocate roles, as required, within the area that you have signed up for. We cannot guarantee that if you have a preference for assisting in a vehicle with a particular grade that we can accommodate individual requests.
