INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for offering to assist with our Club's racing events.

Please find the role you would like to volunteer for, click on the role or Sign Up arrow and enter your name and contact information.
If volunteer roles are already taken it will indicate FULL. We will contact you with further information closer to the event date.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONS
Setup - Sets up equipment (marquees, tables, registration equipment etc) prior to the race event.
Course Signage - Assists with setting out and packing up the course traffic signage as per the Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
Registration Desk - Assists with race queries and registers competitors and provides and collects timing chips, race numbers and helmet covers.
Traffic Controller - Provides Main Roads WA accredited traffic management and control on corners and near the finish line.(Training and
accreditation provided and required.)
Marshal - Manages the safety of riders, spectators and volunteers around the event course (does not have authority to control vehicles).
Commissaire - A trained race official who supervises pre-and post-race formalities, briefs riders and race officials, checks the compliance of
equipment, monitors compliance with the rules and maintains safety during racing, resolves disputes and judges results. (Training and accreditation
provided and required.)
Timing/Results - Manages the setup, operation and packup of the electronic timing equipment. Prepares and publishes results following confirmation by the Commissaires.
Commentator - Provides commentary during the event.
Photographer - Takes photographs during the event and then processes and uploads them to the Club's social media pages.
Packup - Packs up all equipment after the race event.
