NAMI Walk 2025 signup sheet

Setup - Unload and set up tables, tents, and chairs in designated areas. Unload and place display materials, participant swag, and registration materials at designated tables. Unload and place NAMIWalk Banners at entrance to Rockcreek Greenway. Place directional and informational signs along the Rockcreek Greenway.

NAMI Information Table - Set up and restock NAMI information as needed. Welcome each visitor. Invite them to fill out interest form Provide receipts for any donations received. Take down and pack up materials after the close of NAMIWalk.

Greeter/Crosswalk Aide W. Academy ST and Northside Dr - Stand at crosswalks across from Veterans Park Entrance. Greet individuals coming to NAMIWalk. Thank individuals for attending NAMIWalk Remind individuals that there are restrooms in the library and then at Wilshire Trails Park pavilion. (Plan accordingly.) Orient attendees to the entrance and crosswalk operation. Answer questions and assist as needed to the best of ability.

Registration/Check-in - Check-in pre registered participants (Hard copy list will be used to track). Provide participant with wristband and ticket if eligible for NAMIWalk Tshirt. Direct participants to the swag bag and sign table. Walk-up Registration (Hard copy form or online form must be completed for every participant. Donations can be made online with phone, or via check or cash. Provide receipts for any check or cash Donation. Provide participant with wristband and ticket if eligible for NAMIWalk Tshirt. Direct participant to the swag bag and sign table. ( Hard copy list of Walk-Up Registrants eligible for NAMIWalk Shirt must be assembled. Hard copy list of pre-registered participants will be kept and marked off at swag bag and sign table.)

Swag Bag/Sign Table - Provide each registrant (with wristband) with a swag bag. Registrants with tickets will receive a swag bag labeled by name with their NAMIWalk Shirt. Day of Registrants with tickets - will receive a swag bag and NAMIWalk Shirt of requested size, if available. All participants are invited to select and personalize a NAMIWalk Sign which they may pin to their clothing or carry.

First Aid - Bring a first aid kit appropriate for outdoor walking events. Set up at amphitheatre or Swag and Sign Table (when available) and at pavilion at Wilshire Trails Pavilion. Provide Route Monitors with contact # to reach you, in event of need for first aid assistance. Assess/treat as needed. Contact EMS is necessary

Photographer - Take photographs of speakers, event set up, volunteers and participants throughout the event. Take short videos of NAMIWalk participants throughout the event.

Route Monitor - Observe conditions and walkers for assigned areas of route. Encourage safe behavior as needed to walkers and inform First Aid Volunteers if assistance is needed. Pick up discarded litter from the trail section monitored and place in trash bag; bring trash bag(s) to litter containers at pavilions along the Greenway.

Tear Down - Tack down and pack tables, tents, and chairs in designated areas. Take down and pack display materials, participant swag, and registration materials at designated tables.
