The beauty of Textile Center's Garage Sale Occasional Shop is that it raises significant financial support for Textile Center programs -- even during a global pandemic!
It safely brings together artists/makers from across the region, provides materials to artists and makers at affordable prices, and promotes reusing, recycling, and re-purposing! Please keep this mission in mind while volunteering.

Our September 2022 Textile Garage Sale Occasional Shop will take place at:
Art & Architecture Building, Unit #230, 3338 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55414
Thursday, September 29 (4 pm - 6 pm), Friday, September 30 (9 am - 4 pm) and Saturday, October 1, 2022 (9 am - 1 pm)

COVID-19 safety protocol:
Masks are required; please bring your own.

Volunteer parking at the sale event:
Textile Center's lot at 3018 University Ave SE, just down the street (Look for the green signs)
Street parking in the neighborhood (such as on Bedford St SE; watch for any parking requirement signage.)
On-site parking is for shoppers only - thank you!
Note: Do not park on Prospect Terrace SE itself --the 2 hour parking rule is enforced

Green Line Stop: Westgate

Bike racks: On University Ave SE, in front of Art & Architecture store, and at Textile Center on Arthur Ave.

Enter building:
Either through Art & Architecture store entrance (University Ave) during open hours (take the stairs to 2nd floor), or via the back door on Prospect Terrace SE.

Special shopping time for event volunteers (prior to the sale) : Tuesday, September 27, 3-5 pm
Due to space limitations and the busy event, there isn't time for shopping while volunteering at the sale. Purchases will be held until after the completion of your volunteer shift.

Parking: for this special shopping time, you may park in the parking lot behind the building (on Prospect Terrace SE) at any of the "T-Rex cookies" signed spots.
