Bourbon on the Banks - Event is open to the public 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. in Frankfort, KY
Volunteers are needed for the 2021 Bourbon on the Banks for event set up, guests services, distillery assistance, ice running, parking assistance, and event clean up.
In some cases, volunteers need to be able to lift 40 pounds. These volunteer opportunities require standing.
Most volunteers must be 21, however exceptions will be made for some jobs.

Event Set Up - Vendor Parking Lot (Located at Broadway and Sutterlin)
8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to hand out parking passes to vendors, to help set up distillery and vendor tents and to carry materials. Some golf cart driving will be required. You must be able to stand, walk and lift 40 pounds.
Farmers Market Parking Lot Guard
12:30 - 7 p.m.
Ensuring only volunteers and the trolley utilize the Farmer's Market Parking lot before and during the event. Help direct foot traffic. This person will need to stand and do minimal lifting.
Information Station @ Mero and St. Clair
1 - 6 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help festival attendees access the parking garage, provide directions to the event, assist with the Trolley stop and to provide general information to those attending Bourbon on the Banks.
Information Station - @Below Railroad Bridge on River (end of event space)
One assertive volunteer is needed to be stationed at the end of the Bourbon on the Banks Festival space to provide guests with information, to keep people from entering the event space without going through the ticketed area.
Information Tent - @Riverview Park
Two volunteers are needed to staff an information tent at one end of the Bourbon on the Banks Festival space. This tent will serve as the NE terminal of the event near the parking and will keep ticketholders/event-goers from entering the festival through the park. All visitors must enter through the ticket booth. These volunteers can sit.
Information and Merchandise Tent
2 -7:30 p.m.
Three volunteers are needed to provide general information to visitors, direct foot traffic and to sell Bourbon on the Banks merchandise. Volunteers may sit some of the time. Some light lifting is required. Volunteers must have a smart phone and be able to download and learn the Zettle App before the event.
Guest Check In/Ticketing & Guest Services
Volunteers are needed at the shelter behind the Frankfort Farmer's Market at Riverview Park on W. Broadway. These volunteers will be collecting tickets, selling tickets, checking IDs and issuing wristbands. All volunteers will need to have a smartphone and will need to download the Square app and the ticket scanning app ahead of time and learn to use it. Volunteers will need to use their own phones and bringing back up chargers is recommended.
Event Staff - Distillery Assistance - KY STAR Certified
Volunteers will be needed to assist the various distilleries, wineries and breweries who will be vending at Bourbon on the Banks. Volunteers must have an up-to-date, valid STAR certification.
2 - 8 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to walk throughout the festival during its entire run, providing information and guidance to attendees, bringing supplies to vendors, running ice when needed and picking up trash. These volunteers will be on their feet the entire time and need to be able to lift about 30 pounds.
6:30 - 10 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help distilleries and other vendors break down their booths and carry materials to cars for loading. Volunteers will be on foot, will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may be asked to drive a golf cart.
Evening Information Station - @ Ann and Main streets
6:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to help direct festival attendees to the afterparty at Goodwood and to assist with the trolley and to help guests get directed back to parking lots. Volunteers will be required to stand.
