Bourbon on the Banks - Event is open to the public 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Frankfort, Kentucky

Volunteers are needed for the 2022 Bourbon on the Banks for event set up, guests services, distillery assistance, ice running, parking assistance, and event clean up. Volunteers need to be able to lift 50 pounds. These volunteer opportunities require standing. Most volunteers must be 21, however exceptions may be made for volunteer jobs. Event Set Up - Vendor Parking Lot (Able to lift 50 lbs.) 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to hand out parking passes to vendors, to help set up distillery and vendor tents and to carry materials. Volunteers may be required to drive a golf cart. You must be able to stand, walk and lift 50 pounds.

Farmers Market Parking Lot Guard stationed at Wilkinson and Broadway 11:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Ensuring only volunteers and the trolley utilize the Farmer's Market Parking lot before and during the event. Help direct foot traffic. This person will need to stand and do minimal lifting.

Event Guard at entrance to Ward Oats (end of event space) 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help festival attendees access the parking garage, provide directions to the event, assist with the Trolley stop and to provide general information to those attending Bourbon on the Banks.

Information and Merchandise Tent 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to provide general information to visitors, direct foot traffic and to sell Bourbon on the Banks merchandise. Volunteers may sit at times. Light lifting is required. Volunteers must have a smart phone and be able to download and learn the Zettle App before the event.

Guest Check In/Ticketing & Guest Services 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed at the shelter behind the Frankfort Farmer's Market at Riverview Park on W. Broadway. These volunteers will be collecting tickets, selling tickets, checking IDs, and issuing wristbands. All volunteers will need to have a smartphone and will need to download the Eventbrite Organizer app ahead of time. Volunteers will take training to learn how to use the app. Volunteers will need to use their own phones and bringing back up chargers is recommended. Once ticketing is complete some volunteers will be utilized inside the event, some can leave early and all are welcome to stay and help with breakdown.

Event Staff - Distillery Assistance - KY STAR Certified 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Volunteers will be needed to assist the various distilleries, wineries and breweries who will be vending at Bourbon on the Banks. Volunteers must have an up-to-date, valid STAR certification.

Event Team Member in charge of garbage 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to walk throughout the festival during its entire run, providing information and guidance to attendees, bringing supplies to vendors, running ice when needed, picking up trash and switching out garbage bins when they are full. These volunteers will be on their feet the entire time and need to be able to lift about 30 pounds.

Event Team Member in charge of rinse water stations (keep them full) 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
There are six different water stations where people may rinse out their tasting glass. This volunteer is responsible for making sure that the 5-gallon dispensaries stay full.

Event Team Member Vendor Care 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The volunteer will go around to the vendors to make sure they have everything they need, including ice.

Team Member in charge of photo booth (be very social and tech savvy) 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Volunteer is to be energetic and outgoing, take pictures for attendees, and capture video of them..

Event Breakdown – Super fun job! 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help distilleries and other vendors break down their booths and carry materials to cars for loading. Volunteers will be on foot, will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and may be asked to drive a golf cart or gator.
