As part of the required first-year legal writing program, students must present their draft theory of the case to a supervising attorney. Students are drafting a Motion for Summary Judgment on two causes of action. You will be playing the part of the supervising attorney representing the Plaintiff in this matter. This spring, all rounds will be conducted over Zoom.

Each block will have 1-3 teams of two with each session lasting 30 minutes, including presentation time and 5 minutes for your quick feedback to the presenters. We highly encourage volunteers to sign up for at least 2 hours because past volunteers have indicated it takes a few rounds to really get the hang of things. Attorneys who see 3+ teams seem to get the most out of their experience. Evening slots are to accommodate our ONLINE students - we greatly appreciate those who can volunteer for those slots in particular. (Note: Most slots are 1 hour.)

Additional details (Zoom link, "bench brief," etc.) will be sent out by Friday, February 10, 2023, or at least 24 hours before your day for those that sign up later.
