TACA's Spring Things signup sheet
On April 23 TACA is holding our first-ever SPRING THINGS event, which will include several different events and activities taking place at the community centre and across the neighbourhood. Volunteers are needed for all phases of the event, from helping to set up, to running activities, to joining in the community clean-up. Students can get credit for volunteer hours! To register as a volunteer, please select slots from the list below.
CLEANING THE CAPITAL VOLUNTEERS: For each of the Cleaning the Capital "zone assignments", we've indicated how many "groups" are needed for each zone. When selecting a zone, you are signing up as the "leader" of your group. Each group must have at least one adult. Most groups consist of two adults, or at least one adult plus kids. Most of the zones are easily accessible and safe for all ages. Zones marked *** are NOT RECOMMENDED for kids under 8 years of age, or for individuals with mobility issues. Zones marked @@@ are for the Knoxdale Nature Centre. Volunteers selecting this zone should bring tools to help with the landscaping. Further instructions for Cleaning the Capital will be emailed to participants closer to the event.
