Fresh Paint is a high-end art show featuring artists in action! Purchase art fresh off the easel during Schack Art Center's biggest summer arts festival. This year we're bringing the action to Downtown Everett right in front of the Schack on Hoyt Ave! We need volunteers to help us make this event a success, thanks to our fabulous volunteers, it would be impossible to host this event without you!

We need volunteers to help with the following tasks:

Check-In and Set-Up: Volunteers help with various tasks including checking artists in, and setting up signs, tables, pop-ups, and supplies.

Festival Volunteer-: Volunteers will patrol assigned areas and give bottled water to artists who need them and watch booths for artists that need a quick break. Volunteers may answer patron and/or artist questions, and clean up trash. Please wear sun protection and good walking shoes for this shift.

Schack front door volunteer-Volunteers will let artists and volunteers into the Schack before the gallery opens during set-up, the first shift of the day will help serve coffee to volunteers and artists.

Cocktail Garden Volunteer- Volunteers will check ID's, keep the area clean, and help the bartenders restock. Must be 21 Years Old!

Artists Assistant-Yuming Zhu Giant Calligraphy: The volunteer will help the artist set up his giant calligraphy brush demonstration, and assist him in the demonstration, then help him pack up his supplies.

Info Booth Attendant-Volunteers will assist a Schack staff member with answering guests' questions, sharing map information, selling Schack t-shirts and festival merchandise, and checking in volunteers.

Art Activity booth helper-Volunteers help guests interact with the various free artmaking activities, a giant collaborative painted mural, chalk art, and water calligraphy painting. They will keep supplies stocked and help guests participate.

Bag Check-Volunteers will check people's bags before they enter the gallery store. The first bag check shift of the day will also distribute 50 free posters to the first 50 guests in line at the gallery story.

Take Down-help to take signs, easels, and supplies back into the Schack, clean up garbage, and help artists load out. Wear comfortable shoes, these duties are physical.
