The Dyess We Care Team is kicking off our first house paint of the year with a mission that could not be more urgent.
This project supports a Marine Corps veteran who has lost a leg and is physically unable to complete even basic maintenance on his home. Despite his circumstances, a neighbor reported the condition of the house to the city, and he is now facing the very real possibility of having his home condemned.
That’s where we step in.
A few hours of your time can make the difference between this veteran keeping his home or losing it. What may seem like a small act of service to you is, for him, everything.
Leading this effort is SSgt Chris Bryant, stepping forward to guide the team and ensure this veteran receives the support he deserves.
This is what we do. When a call for help comes in, our community answers. We’re not just painting a house—we’re protecting a home, restoring dignity, and standing beside a Marine who has already sacrificed more than most.
LUNCH PROVIDED FOR THOSE WHO WORK BOTH SHIFTS
