Responsibilities:
Cater to players regarding Pro Shop items.

Shoe Runners: Volunteers will be stationed at the shoe bag tables and welcome the players as the arrive. Shoe bags will be tagged with the player’s name and place players “day” shoes in them and placed in with the Pro Shop bags for the players for when they come off the course.

Mens Locker Room: Volunteers will support the Pro Shop and regularly check the men’s locker room for player’s needs, trash, and player items.

Womens Locker Room: Volunteer will support the Pro Shop and regularly check the women’s locker room for player’s needs, trash, and player items.

The COVID-19 situation remains uncertain and fluid and our goal is to respond in a way that best meets the health and safety needs of those who rely on us. We will follow all Federal, State and Local recommendations on COVID-19.
As a public health organization, we are committed to the safety of our attendees, staff and volunteers especially those with compromised immune systems and currently battling cancer. Here is a list of changes we will be making, along with Granite Bay Golf Club, for the 16th Annual American Cancer Society Capital Invitational October 26, 2020.
PRE-EVENT:
• Contact-Less Registration: Players will be emailed and texted pre-event to gather all necessary information. All registration materials will be supplied to player in their cart prior to their arrival.
• Staggered arrival time for players: Players will arrive in 10-minute increments to allow time to get to cart, needed materials, and on to the golf course with little to no contact. As well, players will receive a venue diagram before arrival.
• Training: All staff, vendors and volunteers will participate in hand washing and respiratory etiquette prior to day of event.
• Waiver: All players, volunteers, staff, and volunteers will sign waiver pre-arrival.

DAY OF EVENT
• Symptom Free: All staff, volunteers, players, and vendors will attest to no symptoms at start of shift to be able to participate in the event.
• Masks: All players, volunteers, vendors, and staff will wear required PPE.
• Plastic Divider in carts: All golf carts will be driven by golf participant players with a plastic divider in between driver and passenger. All volunteer golf cart drivers will be given golf cart guidelines and require the waiver prior to operating golf cart. Golf carts are not permitted off the golf course premises.
• Sanitation Stations: Sanitation Stations will be provided by GBGC and ACS throughout the event
• Individual Serve: All meals will be pre-packaged. Take and go food and self will be how players will be given food. For example, breakfast will not be served in the Mackenzie Grill like previous years. Instead, players will have a to-go breakfast given to them by Granite Bay Golf Club staff.
• Safety Manager Team: We will have a team of safety managers on-site.
The needs of cancer patients continue, and so will the work of the American Cancer Society. We stand together even when we’re apart.
