*Racer Package Pick Up: Provide runners with their race bib and race package. Assist in answering questions as best as possible, escalating questions to your lead. Location is Jasper Gates Hostel, 2nd floor. Date is FRIDAY!

*ForeRunning: You’ll be pre-running the course. Loop 1 is 35 km with approximately 1000 meters elevation gain. Loop 2 is 25 km with approximately 1300 meters elevation gain. Meet at Race HQ at Folding Mountain Brewing.

*Aid Stations:
*Aid Station #1: Be ready with energy early in the morning. You can drive your vehicle to the aid station - a low-clearance vehicle will struggle on the gravel road. This aid station will be fast-and-furious and you’ll see the 25 km, 60 km, and leg 1 relay runners
*Aid Station #2: You’re the second aid station the 60 km / relay runners will see. You’ll see them only once. So bring the energy and all the vibes to keep the energy going for the runners. You’ll meet at Aid Station #1 and caravan-style to Aid Station #2. A truck or SUV is needed to get to Aid Station #2, carpools will be available.
*Aid Station #4: This aid station is located at the Folding Mountain False Summit. The shift time is inclusive of a 8 km hike with 900 meters elevation gain up and the hike down. You will need to bring 3 liters of water and all the food and clothing supplies that you need for the day. A headlamp and waterproof jacket are required; poles are recommended. You’ll see 25 km, 60 km, and leg 2 relay runners.

*Scree Support: Supporting runners as they make their way up and down the scree section of the mountain. You must be comfortable helping others navigate technical terrain and able to complete the Folding Mountain ascent and descent. Plan to put 25-30 km on your legs that day with 1500-2000 meters elevation gain.

*60 KM People Sweep: Follow the last runner and keep them in your sight. You’re there as support and reporting to the Race Directors that the course is clear. A Garmin tracker is requested so Race HQ can track your progress. You’ll likely be slow running / hiking. Leg 2 people sweep must be comfortable with a scree climb and descent.
*People Sweep Leg #1: 35 km with approximately 1000 meters elevation gain
*People Sweep Leg #2: 25 km with approximately 1200 meters elevation gain (you will also be responsible for clearing flagging material from the course)

*60 KM Material Sweep: Responsible for clearing the material from the course.
*Material Sweep Leg #1: 30 km with approximately 1000 meters elevation gain (start at Aid Station #1)

*25 KM People and Material Sweep: start at Race HQ and follow the last 25 km runner on the first loop of the run. At Aid Station #1, also remove flagging as you sweep.

*Course Marshals: Keeping runners safe on course and ensuring they make turns at critical junctions.
*CM #1 (less than 1 km from race start - you’ll need to walk to this location from your car)
*CM #2 (accessible from gravel road - turning runners back to Folding Mountain Village)
*CM #3 (near Jasper East Hostel - directing runners towards finish area, you can park at your location)
*CM #4 (start finish area, directing runners onto Loop 2 or the Aid Station / washrooms)

*Medals and Awards: A fun job taking the timing chips from the runners and giving them their finisher medal and beers. Also helping with the placement awards.

*Timing and HQ: Assisting our time keeper with manual tracking of runners

*Finish Line Aid Station / Aid Station #3: Keeping the aid station table full and assisting runners as needed. First shift includes set up. Last shift includes take down.

*Finish-line announcer: Love being on the microphone, want to announce runners - this job is for you!

*Volunteer Check-In: Check-in the volunteers, make sure they receive their thank you gift. We’ll also ask you to support race communications as needed.
