Safe Harbors Green Thumbs signup sheet
New in 2026, Safe Harbors is launching a dedicated volunteer program in partnership with One Nature to help steward Safe Harbors Green over the growing season. We're looking for community members who are passionate about gardening and sustainability to join us as Safe Harbors Green Thumbs.
After receiving training and tools, and working under professional guidance, Green Thumbs will care for specific zones within the park. Tasks include pruning, weeding, trimming, transplanting, and more! Note that volunteering as a Safe Harbors Green Thumb will include some physical labor and working in sunny (and sometimes hot) conditions.
