Waste Audits signup sheet
NOTE: Please pay attention to the date when you sign up. New dates will be added as the semester continues.
What: We will be sorting the landfill and recycling waste from a one day sample of various building into categories to determine the composition and contamination of our waste streams.
Location: Outside of the University of Dayton Old River Park Gatehouse, on Huffman Ave Rd next to Lane Stadium Oakwood. We will conduct the waste audit outdoors under a covered garage.
Parking: Parking is allowed off of Huffman Ave Rd next to Lane Stadium Oakwood. Make sure NOT to park anywhere there is a UD permit sign or in the Cox Media Group Ohio parking lot. The location is about a 15 minute walk from campus.
What to wear: Closed toe shoes, long pants, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Gloves, masks, protective aprons, and safety goggles will be provided.
Additional details: If you cannot make the entire shift, please be sure that you send me an email with your available hours. Instructions and a waiver will be emailed to you a day prior to your shift.
