P&F 2026 Welcoming team signup sheet
This group is run by Mums and Dads to find ways to connect in and serve at the school. It is a flexible group and by being part of the group you can OPT in to events that suit your schedule.
We have a growing group of Genesis Mums Dads that stay connected by messenger and WhatsApp and discuss any events that parents can serve at together as a team. Your membership of the group means you will be notified of opportunities to serve, and you can opt in and out of events to suit your schedule.
When: Flexible on specific time and date. If you are added to this group, you will be sent opportunities to serve with our Genesis Mums and Dads!
Commitment: 30 minutes to 1.5 hour, 2-3 opportunities per term will be shared with you
Volunteer Activities:
- Welcoming families and community members to the school
- For some events we also serve food
Examples of events shared with the Welcoming Team:
- Welcoming @ launch week events such as Prep Morning tea, and Genesis New Families morning tea.
- Welcoming @ Year 7 Welcome Night
- Welcoming @ Family Friday Breakfasts (once per term)
- Welcoming @ other P&F events such as Movie Night
- Welcoming @ Genesis Community events (e.g., as requested by Genesis for music nights, Concert on the Green)
