COMMUNITY CPR & OVERDOSE AWARENESS INITIATIVE

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Thank you for your interest in serving with Sterling 1st Aid C.P.R.™ as we educate, empower, and prepare communities through lifesaving CPR, AED, and overdose awareness outreach.

EVENT OVERVIEW

The 30 Loves 2 Breathe™ Community CPR & Overdose Awareness Initiative provides free hands-only CPR education, AED awareness, opioid overdose prevention education, Narcan awareness, and community wellness resources to families throughout North Texas.

Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us create safer, healthier, and more prepared communities.

VOLUNTEER ROLES AVAILABLE

SETUP CREW
Assist with unloading supplies, setting up tables, signage, educational stations, and event materials prior to the event.

WELCOME & REGISTRATION TEAM
Greet community members, assist with sign-in, distribute informational materials, and direct guests throughout the event.

CPR DEMONSTRATION ASSISTANTS
Support instructors during hands-only CPR demonstrations, assist participants, and help manage educational stations.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM
Engage with attendees, distribute educational resources, promote community safety awareness, and share information about upcoming programs.

RESOURCE & VENDOR SUPPORT
Assist community partners and vendors with setup needs, crowd flow, and event logistics.

BREAKDOWN CREW
Help with event cleanup, packing materials, loading supplies, and restoring the event space following the event.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

• Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
• Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign required forms.
• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
• Volunteers should arrive 15–30 minutes before their scheduled shift for orientation and assignments.
• A positive attitude and willingness to serve the community are appreciated.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All volunteers must sign the official Sterling 1st Aid C.P.R.™ Volunteer Waiver before participating in any event activities.

By volunteering, participants acknowledge that they are serving in a voluntary capacity and agree to follow all event safety guidelines and instructions provided by Sterling 1st Aid C.P.R.™ staff.
