SBC - Serve The City Christmas - Victoria Women's Transition House signup sheet

Once again this Christmas SBC is seeking your support in bringing Christmas to local women and children who have taken refuge from abuse at the Victoria Women's Transition House (VWTH).

Many, if not all, find themselves with very little having left with only a few personal affects and needing to start a new life. A safe life for them and their children. As housing is limited to 30 days during this transition period, needs are best met through gift cards for a hot meal or personal items like clothing or personal health care. These gift cards are presented to those in need throughout the year and not just Christmas.

With Covid 19 presenting ever changing regulations around social distancing and store hours we are providing you with 2 options to support those in need through VWTH this year. You can choose to personally pick up the gift card(s) and return it to the SBC office by Friday Dec 11th. It should be Marked with Your Name & VWTH so we know it has been collected and can cross you off the list. The other option is to simply make a donation for the value you wish to support and one of SBC's elves will pick it up for you. You still need to register for your selection below and then use the web address for donating on our church website. Don't delay, do this now so we can be sure to get these gift cards out in a timely matter to meet the urgent need, this year especially.

Thank you for making a difference in the life of some who is hurting this Christmas. VWTH has well equipped facilities and personnel to walk the journey with these women and families but not the resources to care for all their needs. A simple meal or new jacket can mean a lot to those receiving.
