Grand Slam Slo-Pitch Tournament 2026 - August 15th and 16th - Leduc, AB signup sheet

This August, we’ll be turning the William F. Lede Park (4524 - 47 Ave, Leduc) into the ultimate home run with tons of prizes to be won, delicious on-site concession, awesome music, beer garden, auctions, raffles, fun-loving entertainment, and inspiring stories from our brave wish kids. We would love to have you join us as a volunteer for this fun and memorable event!

Details:
Date: Saturday Aug 15th and Sunday August 16th, 2026 (7:00am-6:00pm each day)
Location: William F. Lede Park 4524 - 47 Avenue, Leduc AB (onsite parking and transit accessible)
Meeting Spot: Make-A-Wish table (behind concession building)
To Bring: Make-A-Wish t-shirt, comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen
Perks: Volunteers will receive Grand Slam baseball hat, snacks & food voucher for lunch

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All volunteers must be 18+
- Photographer volunteers must bring their own camera and equipment
- First Aid volunteers must have valid up-to-date certification and provide proof of this to organizers

Training: virtual training will take place in advance of event weekend

2:00pm - Break (Base Running Competition)
6:00pm - Beer Garden Closes

August 16th
8:00am - Registration Opens - Check-in
8:30am/10:00am/11:30am/2:30pm/4:00pm - start times for games
1:00pm - Home Run Derby
5:30pm - Closing Ceremonies, Awards, Draws
6:00pm - Beer Garden Closes, event tear down
