Free Press Fest 2025 Volunteer signup sheet

Join the events team at Montana Free Press to help run the second annual Free Press Fest, September 16-18 at Montana State University! Designed to promote civic engagement, celebrate Montana’s rich culture, and empower attendees to actively participate in shaping the future of our state, Free Press Fest 2025 will feature keynotes, panels, and workshops with thought leaders, policy experts, independent journalists, and engaged Montana citizens.

Free Press Fest needs help with registration, door attendants at each conference session venue, session ushers to direct traffic and help the production team, plus some special events assistance.

REGISTRATION TEAM - Check in pass holders, will call pass pickup, walk-up registration, merchandise sales, etc.
DOOR ATTENDANT - manage session entry, check credentials at the door, count attendees, monitor doors
SESSION USHER - assist production team with patron management, help attendees find seats, assist speakers and panel participants, relay messages
SPECIAL EVENT TEAM - assist with VIP reception, setting up materials and signage, help patrons locate event, clear rubbish and used dishes, event cleanup, etc.
