On Saturday October 25 from 3-5PM, we are hosting a Trunk-or-Treat in the school staff parking lot!
Kids (and adults) can wear costumes and trick-or-treat walking from car to car.
Trunk volunteers will bring their vehicle, decorate their trunks and provide treats* for the kids.
Here are some general guidelines:
- Trunk decorating and setup begins at 2 and the event begins at 3.
- Volunteers are required to supply their own* peanut free treats, please prepare for approximately 300 children.
- We encourage people to buddy-up with other Elmwood parents to do a trunk together. This creates community and helps offset costs!
- We would like to see representation from as many classes as possible so registration is organized by class.
- There will be prizes for best trunks!
- Treats don't need to be edible; glow sticks/stickers etc. are welcomed!
- All displays and decorations must be family friendly and accessible .
- You are welcome to host a game and/or play music at your trunk too!
- Cleanup begins when the event ends at 5PM.
Don't be discouraged if your class sign-up is full! Register in the overflow parking slots.
Want to volunteer for the event but don't want to host a trunk? Volunteers are needed to help run the games at the event, sign-up below!
*The ESC is working hard to source donations of Halloween treats to offset the costs to our volunteers.
THE EVENTS COMMITTEE HAS RECEIVED ENOUGH DONATIONS TO FULLY SUPPLY 14 TRUNKS WITH TREATS!
