We are postponing this until fall. Please, stay tuned.
County-wide COMPETITION to pick up litter along the highways and byways around Chattooga County, sponsored by Wright's Sanitation. Depending on the number of teams who sign up, we will target key roadways most often used and/or most unsightly with litter. Encouraging civic clubs, businesses, youth organizations, and other groups to build a team and pick a corridor to compete for the most litter (by # of bags) picked up. Take LOTS of pictures of team with bags collected before they are picked up by county for final weigh-in. Prizes for largest team, most bags collected, and THE most unique item (bring to after party for a vote).
Garbage bags provided. Meet up AFTERWARDS at Dowdy Park, Summerville, for a Trash Party Picnic with live music, prizes and games. Michael Lee will be performing for us---what a great celebration!!!
If raining, we'll meet at the Depot for the party.
