Our annual general meeting is Thursday, May 21st at 6:30PM in the school library. Please indicate if you would be willing to run for any of the positions available.

Will you be joining us at the PAC AGM?
We require a minimum number of attendees to allow for voting in new board members and to apply for a BC Gaming Grant for next year. Please let us know if you will be there.

Chair
The President speaks and consults for Council, chairs meetings, sets agendas, appoints committees, represents the Council, signs documents, and files an annual report in line with the constitution.

Vice-Chair
The Vice-President supports and assists the President, assumes presidential duties when required, takes on extra tasks, and serves as a signing officer.

Secretary
The Secretary notifies members of meetings, records and distributes minutes (including to the Principal), maintains and safeguards all Council records and governing documents, manages correspondence and other requested paperwork.

Treasurer
The Treasurer, as a signing officer, oversees and records all Council funds and transactions, drafts the annual budget and statement, ensures proper bookkeeping and access for audits or in their absence, and provides financial records to members.

DPAC Representative
The DPAC Rep attends Comox Valley SD71 DPAC meetings on behalf of the PAC, represents and votes for the PAC, and reports updates and communications back to the PAC.

Event Coordinators
Being the team lead for events is a fun job - typically there are lots of helpers, but we do need some new event leads!
