Please be aware that the new Pricing: Sausage Sizzle must be sold for $2.50 and Drinks are to be sold for $1.50

Our new CLEANING REQUIREMENTS:

Community group must clean down all surfaces within the community BBQ area, excluding the hotplate, each hour.
Hand sanitiser must be available within the community BBQ area for the community group to use but MUST be kept away from the cooking area.
Hand sanitiser must be available in the serving area for customers to use if they wish.
(Hand sanitiser provided by Bunnings)

Prior to running a fundraising sausage sizzle, all community groups must read and review the Food Standards New Zealand information provided.

Please ensure your BBQ runs from 9am till 4.00pm as a minimum. Our BBQ’s cannot finish before 4.00pm. If your group sells out of sausages/bread prior to 4.00pm on the day, you will be required to purchase more products, continuing the sausage sizzle offer to customers until 4.00pm, ( Pac n Save just across the road.) Please can you ensure the correct footwear is worn by your Team.

Please ensure that disposable gloves are worn by team cooking the BBQ and the person taking the money does not handle the food.

Please ensure that OIL SPRAY is not used when using our BBQ only oil to be used, thank you.

On completion of your BBQ the Gas Cylinder valve must be turned to off and the BBQ must be cleaned as per the Closing Procedures listed in the Information Pack sent to you.

Connecting and Disconnecting Gas Cylinders

Only Bunnings Team Members who are familiar with and/or have had training on the use of LPG are permitted to connect and disconnect the cylinder.
