A posada is a traditional Mexican celebration leading up to Christmas that re-enacts the biblical journey of Mary and Joseph seeking lodging in Bethlehem. The celebration involves a festive procession through the campus, singing carols, and eventually, a party with food, drinks, and piƱatas in Barrette Hall. The word "posada" means "inn" or "lodging" in Spanish
