Volunteer Positions Available
This form is for all volunteer opportunities on the day of the Thrifty Treasures Market on Saturday May 24, 2025. Each task has 2 shifts per day, and each line represents 1 shift so for one task there may be multiple lines. Be sure to check the times you are signing up for

Various positions include:
Coffee: Come in and make coffee and organize any snacks for volunteers working. Indicate below which day and time you can do this, please be at the church 30 minutes before your shift
Greeters: Greet customers entering in the EAST door and provide a quick overview of the sale's layout and purpose
Wayfinders: These volunteers will be placed at the door leading out of the Small Hall, the door leading out of the Large Hall and the Foyer to guide people through the building. Let customers know what room they are entering next, explain the function, and how to navigate
Floorwalkers: Assist customers explaining how the pricing works, guide customers to the cashiers, answer any questions and share with customers the purpose of the event, retrieve the organizer of the event if customers need further assistance. There will be floor walkers in Small Hall, Large Hall, and Lower Level
Bake Sale Attendent: Supervise the bake sale table and assist costumers letting them know what items are and direct them to where they will pay
Cashiers: Take all money at a central location, following the pricing system This task has an overlap in shift times because lunchtime can get busy
Baggers: Helping to put items in bags or boxes, count items for cashier if necessary (lots of items or cashier is with another customer), supervise cashier area (keep lines moving, ensure items don't get mixed up or forgotten), retrieve organizer of the event if customers require further assistance. Pack Up: *This is very fast heavy work* Pack leftover items and bring to truck
Clean Up: Sweep, wash floor, and replace all furniture items that were moved, take down signage, clean dishes and kitchen
On each task, you will see these letters: H/S/Sit
(H) indicates heavy work, lifting, carrying, and fast paced tasks
(S) indicates standing, any tasks that require you to be casually mobile
(Sit) indicates tasks that require you to sit or where sitting is possible
