Rhythms of Rest Volunteers - Rehearsals and Shows signup sheet

Thank you so much for donating your time to being a part of the invaluable team that makes the Jubilee shows happen. Your role is so important to achieving our overall goal of having each student be able to perform with joy, peace and safety.

Volunteer Role Descriptions:

Setup/Tear Down Crews: Assist with the setup or tear down for the show including tables, signage, etc.

Check-in/ Team: Be friendly and outefficient in greeting and checking students in, and communicating essential info to parents.

Class Helper: Your primary role is to keep the students in the balcony safe and sticking to their job; to quietly sit in their designated row, to support their fellow dancers on stage, and to cheer loudly after every dance!

Balcony Manager: Your primary job is to closely follow the show order and send the next class of students down to the runners as soon as a class goes on stage. You will also be directing students in what needs to happen during intermission and when the show ends.

Show Runner: You will be escorting classes back and forth from the balcony/backstage throughout the duration of the show.

Tinies/Little Manager: Your job is to be a “mother hen” to your assigned class of Tinies/Littles. Keep them all together, ready to perform, and engaged with the show as much as possible.

Merch Table Cashier: Be a friendly, professional, and helpful presence assisting people through their checkout process.

Usher: Greet show attendees, scan tickets, and direct them to where their seats are located.

Costume Checkout/Launderers: Man the costume dropoff table after the show and checkoff when a student brings back their costume(s), sort the items into the correct bins, and take home a portion of the costume to launder.
