Field of Dreams' Family Fun Day 2023 signup sheet

Be part of Salem, NH's Field of Dreams Park and Playground’s 6th Annual Family Fun Day. This event is scheduled for August 26, 2023, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and has been incredibly successful due to help from volunteers like you!

The Family Fun Day event in 2022 touched over 6,000 Salem residents and visitors from surrounding communities.

The event focuses on bringing the community together by providing activities that include a Circus act, bounce houses, Touch-a-Truck, face painting, live music, and a DJ, many children’s games, crafts and activities, and a variety of food trucks. The success of this event has continued to grow due to support from local families, clubs, and businesses.

Many people are not aware that the Field of Dreams Park and Playground is managed by a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is entirely maintained by a volunteer Board of Directors. Unlike the other neighborhood parks and playgrounds, the Town of Salem does not fund the Field of Dreams. Our Park thrives because many local organizations have the desire to give back to their community.

Please review the many volunteer opportunities Family Fun Day offers for all ages. For High School students, time spent volunteering at Family Fun Day can count towards College Application volunteer hours and he/she will receive a letter of recommendation from the Head of the Family Fun Day Committee.

Lunch is also provided for volunteers who work more than 4 consecutive hours.
