The Maplewood Moseley Community Garden is on the grounds of the UU Church of Vancouver at 4505 E 18th St, Vancouver, WA 9866. We are creating this garden to address food insecurity in our neighborhood. Last week we built and placed 24 raised bed garden boxes in the garden area. This Saturday we will concentrate on filling the garden boxes with soil, and maybe start working on the paths. Both light and heavy work level volunteers are needed to fill each 4x10 ft box with soil and top with a layer of leaves for the winter. Everyone must wear a mask and work at least 6 feet away from other volunteers. Multiple groups of 5 volunteers will be working on different parts of the garden to maintain distancing. Please do not show up if you have been exposed to Covid-19 or are feeling sick!

Light work: Help set up, gather and carry tools to work areas: shovels, rakes, pitch forks, wheelbarrows, water hoses
