Event Location: Ottawa River Canoe Club

This year’s Ottawa River Paddle Challenge will be held on September 9th – we’re excited for another great event and hope for a fantastic turnout.
To ensure the event’s success, we will be in need of lots of helpers. We’ll be looking for volunteers to help out with the following teams:

Parking Team (Lead: Erin Coleman): Parking and boat unloading help
Registration Team (Lead: Julie Begbie): Registration, Info/Help to registrants
Lunch Team (Lead: JoJo Chapman): prepare, serve, clean up
Race Team (Lead: Chris Justus): Officials, Timers, Finish Line Spotters
Safety Boat Teams: Drivers and Spotters
Sponsorship/Prize Support (this role would involve some work in the months leading up to the event to solicit sponsors and prizes and some coordination work in the week prior; e.g. pick up prizes)

We are very happy to sign-off on high school volunteer hours. Volunteers need to be at least 12 years old.
