We are seeking volunteers to reforest several areas throughout Summit Metro Parks. Help create the next generation of forests and flex your green arms/thumbs. Oak, maple, dogwood, aster and other species will be planted during these sessions.
Wear gloves, long sleeves, pants, sunglasses and hats for sun protection and to prevent poison ivy rash and insect bites. Tools are provided or you may bring your own shovel. Restrooms are available on-site or within a short drive.
Open to adults and youth, ages 15 and up. First-time SMP volunteers must submit a signed volunteer agreement prior to the shift. See https://www.summitmetroparks.org/volunteer.aspx for the appropriate document.
