Canmore Nordic Centre - Meet under the big flag

Trail building nights are not only a great way to spend a nice evening outside with other like minded people, they are also a vital component of both the creation and maintenance of the Bow Valley trail system. A large portion of the work CAMBA accomplishes each year is thanks to the efforts of our volunteers. By participating in a build night, the next time you are out on the trail you worked on, you’ll be able to feel the satisfaction of riding the berms, bumps and features that you helped to make possible while also knowing that you have contributed to a sustainable trail network for all users.

Our trail build nights have something for everybody, so whether you want to feel the burn by hauling rocks or simply take a rake for a walk we’ve got options. These sessions typically run 2-3 hours depending on daylight and conditions so be prepared to be outside.

We live and play in the mountains where the weather can change quickly. It's important to be prepared for different conditions so please pack and dress accordingly.

The essential items needed for safe trail work have been listed below:
- personal work gloves
- protective eye-wear
- safety boots or sturdy shoes
- bear spray
- food
- water

Keep an eye out for an email with information on the meeting point, waiver and other details 2-3 days before the build night.
If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out to us at volunteer@camba.ca. We can’t wait to see you there!
