Hiking in Balboa Park w/ Ranger Ivy signup sheet

Join Park Ranger Ivy for an exciting monthly hike and nature lesson through Balboa Park in San Diego! Ranger Ivy volunteers her time to help teach children of Park Takeover about the wonders of the land and its natural environment. Each session focuses on different outdoor skills and knowledge, including navigation, identifying animal tracks, understanding the layers of the Earth, and exploring artifacts and fossils. Through hands-on activities, children gain confidence and a deeper connection with nature, all while learning about the rich history and biodiversity of Balboa Park. Whether it's discovering the local wildlife or uncovering the secrets of the land, these hikes provide valuable lessons in both nature and stewardship.
