Volunteering will follow a similar format to last year. For each child participating with RYFC, a family is required to volunteer a total of 2 shifts across 5 home events (1 scrimmage, 4 regular season). A ‘shift’ begins 15 minutes prior to the start of the game you are working and lasts until the completion of that game (typically not longer than 90 minutes).

Volunteering for the required number of shifts is not limited to the parent/guardian. Other family members, friends, or even other RYFC families may volunteer to assist in covering the required number of shifts a parent/family is required to work (if they are in agreement to help cover). It is recommended that you use the same name to sign up for each shift to allow for easier tracking of the # of shifts worked.

Volunteers will work in the following areas during home events:
-Gate/Admissions
-Concessions
-Chain Gang

Sign in sheets will be located at each of the volunteer locations. Please make sure you sign in when arriving to work your shift.

Coaches and Team Moms are exempt from signing up for volunteering as each coaching staff will be responsible for assisting with game day operations for either the first or second half of a home event.
