It's time to give back to the place we love to bike, run, walk, hike, roller blade, cross country ski, picnic, etc. This message is for everyone who enjoyed the natural beauty of Busse Woods this year! We'll be working to restore a unique, rich, and diverse habitat by removing invasive plants, such as buckthorn.

Date: Sunday 11/13
Time: 9am to 12pm
Place: Busse Main Dam entrance. Arlington Heights Rd and Edgeware. Parking lot just past the bike trail crossing.
What to bring/expect: Wear clothing that can get dirty, long pants, long sleeved shirts, socks, sturdy shoes. We will be removing invasive brush with handtools and burning it on a bonfire. Water bottle.

This workday will be fun for all ages, so bring a friend. Tools and gloves will be provided. We’ll break for snacks and will cook lunch on the fire after the workday.

Youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian. Recommended ages high school and up.
