LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District Pride Volunteer Sign-Up

Want to help promote and represent the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District at Pride on June 30th? We're looking for volunteers to help us with walking in the parade and with assistance at our Outreach booth! More information will be sent to you via the email you sign up with!

Duties Explanation:

IN PRIDE PARADE
Hold LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District Banner
- Trade off throughout the Pride Parade to hold the banner during the parade

Color Guard
- Hold one of the 6 flags with the color guard poles and walk through the Pride Parade route.
- This is a physical task

Back-up Color Guard
- Same responsibilities as Color Guard but there as relief in case someone cancels morning of or needs to break during the route!

IN LEATHER ALLEY
Set-up:
- Arrive at 10 am to help put up the outreach booth.
- Set up table and step & repeat

Photographer
- Stand with the step and repeat in order to take pictures of patrons in front of the district logo (using Patron's phones!)
- Encourage folx to tag SFLCD and follow us on social media
- Engage and be friendly with patrons wandering through Leather Alley
- Encourage folx to stop by the Outreach Booth to learn more about the District!

Outreach Booth
- Share information about the district
- Encourage folx to join our newsletter list, volunteer, become a member
- Sales of LCD hankies

Tear Down
- Tear down tent, canopy, tents
- Put away all materials in bins
- Return items to storage
