Curling Volunteers Sign Up Sheet
Part of the curling culture is that everyone shows up and helps with set up and clean up! Talkeetna Curling Club would like to designate two volunteers per curling session (League and PickUp) to take on the specific responsibility of arriving early to make sure that the facilities are open and prep is started and two volunteers to commit to staying until the last lights are off and the doors are locked. We love our committed volunteers!
Curling Set-Up Volunteer Duties may include: opening of hockey shack and storage shed, snow removal from the ice, pebbling, installation of hacks, hauling of stones/brooms/scoreboards out of storage shed.
Curling Clean-Up Volunteer Duties may include: removal of hacks, hauling of stones/brooms/scoreboards back into storage shed, locking of hockey shack and storage shed.
