BCRD Native Plant Arboretum Day, Again! signup sheet

This signup sheet is not accepting new volunteers.
Please contact the event coordinator for further details.

We are so excited to host ANOTHER volunteer day at the BCRD Native Plant Arboretum! Learn about native Idaho plants, including the state tree and state flower. We will be doing some light pruning, raking, weeding, and plant wildflowers and shrub seedlings. We may also do some trail cleanup.
The Arboretum is located north of Fox Acres Road and the Wood River (“bike trail”) trailhead in Hailey. We will meet at 4:00 pm.

Required: mask, work gloves, water bottle, and a kneeling pad (optional). Please wear closed-toe shoes – sandals not recommended because there are ants that love bare toes!

Note: There is limited parking at the trailhead.
Additional parking available at the Southeast corner of McKercher Park, just south of the airport and Highway 75. If you choose to bike, there is a small bike rack adjacent to the trailhead parking. (but don’t forget a bike lock)
Optional: scissors, pruners, hand saw, shovel, hand trowel, rake, and a small bucket.

If you have questions feel free to email hannah@woodriverlandtrust or Linda Ries at plries75@gmail.com

Thank you for volunteering! We'll see you soon!
