CHRISTMAS IN DAVIDSON volunteer opportunities are still available on Dec. 6 and 7! Recycling Ambassador volunteers will encourage and assist with recycling during this fun and lively event. Sign up as a family, a pair, a group, or individual. In years past, volunteers like you helped keep 40 cubic yards of recycling out of the landfill. A brief training will be offered on site. Student volunteers will travel in small groups to check on recycling throughout the event and use litter sticks to move recyclable items in the proper containers. Litter sticks, gloves, colorful vests, hand sanitizer/wash stations, and hot cocoa will be provided (bring a reusable mug if you'd like). Volunteers will be sent a confirmation email with additional details the week of the event. Meeting location: meet at the Green School booth located at 216 S. Main St. in the front parking lot (corner closest to 212 S. Main St. building).
