Food pantry deliveries: January 2024 signup sheet

Newton Neighbors volunteers deliver food from local food pantries to families who are unable to access the pantries themselves. Each volunteer delivers to approximately 4 families. We deliver food from Newton Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry, and the American Legion Nonantum Post 440 food bank - see the signup sheet below for the specific dates and times. After signing up please mark your calendar for the slots you volunteered for. You will hear from one of our coordinators a few days before the delivery. THANK YOU!

At Centre Street Food Pantry and Post 440, volunteers will pick up the food outside. At Newton Food Pantry, the food will be pre-bagged, but volunteers will need to go inside to get the groceries - we expect that this will not take more than a few minutes.

IMPORTANT: Newton Neighbors has incorporated as a nonprofit and we are formalizing some of our procedures. Before signing up to volunteer, you must fill out our volunteer agreement, which includes our guidelines, expectations, and disclaimer statement. Completing the agreement is required in order to volunteer. The volunteer agreement can be found at https://forms.gle/J3gE8EaqFVg47Q2f7 (copy and paste link into your browser). You only need to fill this out once, so if you have done it already you are all set.
