In a collaboration with the Camano Arts Association, SCAAC's Mobile Art Center (MAC) will be at Freedom Park throughout Glass Quest (Feb 16 – 25), and will be welcoming visitors Fri 12-4pm, Sat 10am-4pm & Sun 11am-3pm.
CAA's Gateway Gallery will be hosting a show of Shogo Ota's work - he designed the mural on the outside of the MAC! Inside the MAC, we will be offering a retrospective of Shogo's work with SCAAC on the design and execution of this massive piece of art.
As a volunteer, you'll be showing visitors around the MAC, offering a coloring page to anyone interested (they can do it there, or take it home), chatting about SCAAC's work in the community and being kind. :)
Please encourage visitors to check out the Gateway Gallery, and wander around Freedom Park looking at the sculptures. They're lovely!
NOTE: Freedom Park will be very busy with Glass Questers. SCAAC will NOT be hiding clue balls inside the MAC. SCAAC will be hiding clue balls at Freedom Park - clues for their whereabouts will be posted on our social media accounts. (FB/Insta: @scaacwa)
All the info you need to know will be available on posters and brochures within the MAC.
