Volunteers in this area will help sort and distribute the stuffed animals to their designated places on the tables and pick them up off the floor when they fall. You will also be assisting the hosts by helping the children select an animal. There are to be no unattended children roaming around unsupervised. Most hosts will have more than one child in their care and most children will be picky about the animal they select. Locate children in need of your services and ask them what type of animal they might like to have. Then guide them to that area and show them options to choose from. Once they have chosen an animal lead them back to the host that is responsible for that child. [Be sure and read the name of the host when they arrive.] You must also make sure that each child takes only the designated amount of animals (younger ones may try to take as many as they can carry - unclear of the concept). Ask the area supervisor for current quantities and sizes which may change as inventory is depleted. [For example: In the morning it may be a choice of one large animal or two medium animals. Later it may be one medium-sized animal and two small animals.]
