Metabolic Biochemistry and Molecular Immunology 2024 signup sheet

Students will be given the opportunity to present one of the following topics to the class for a bonus mark of up to 4%. Students will present in groups of up to 4 members covering the biochemical pharmacy and biochemistry of the topic of interest. Marks depend upon the quality of the presentation and the information presented; summary and discussion. All students should attend presentations as they form part of the mid-term and final exams. Be sure to focus only on referenced sources of information, (textbooks, Pubmed, etc.) as some E-sources can be unreliable. Plagiarism of material from prior works will result in a substantial penalty. Presentations will be strictly limited to 10 minutes and are typically given in the form of a powerpoint presentation, however other formats are also acceptable. Be sure to place all key points of your presentation on a single summary slide. For questions on presentation topic or advice on how to present, students should refer to prior examples given on the course website or confer with Dr. Henderson as necessary.
