Christopher's Deli, along with Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield and Assemblyman Ryan Peters will be handing out another 250 free meals to seniors on Wednesday, May 13 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Seniors will pick up meals in 15-minute time slots. There will be a two-meal maximum. SIGN UP TWICE IF YOU WANT TWO MEALS. You can also sign up for curbside delivery, but it is first come first serve. Please reserve curbside delivery for seniors that are immobile and do not have anyone who can pick up a meal for them.
WHEN YOU SIGN UP, IGNORE THE EMAIL THANKING YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING. IT IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE. YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR A MEAL. NOT TO VOLUNTEER.
The meal will consist of a roast beef dinner with a side of mashed potatoes, string beans, a buttered roll and a side of gravy. Meals will be handed out in the Mount Holly Police Department complex parking lot on Park Drive. Residents should turn off of Rancocas Road onto Park Drive and follow signs to the lot. They will then be directed to exit on Washington Street. Cars should pull up, roll down their window and state their name so they can be marked off the list. If you are picking up a meal for a relative, please state the name of the original person who signed up. Someone will then place the meal in your trunk.
