Kodomo no Hi 04/10/2026 signup sheet

Join us as we celebrate Kodomo no Hi (Children's Day) on Friday, April 10th, 2026! (This is a No School Day for students)

In order to make this a fun and memorable event, we need your help! Volunteers are needed to help set up, supervise activities, and clean up. No previous experience or training required! Your time and energy are all we need, everything else will be provided!

Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts if you can! If you have a student at YG, please reference the performance list below so you don't miss them performing!

Event Schedule:
3:00-5:00 pm - Set-Up
5:00 pm - Event Begins
5:00-5:15 pm 4th Grade
5:20-5:45 pm 1st Grade
5:50-6:00 pm 3rd Grade
6:10-6:20 pm 3rd Grade
7:00 pm - Event Ends
7:00-8:00 pm - Clean-Up

Activity shifts will be available in 30-minute increments from 3:00-8:00pm. Prior to the event, an email with day of specifics will be sent out to volunteers.

Student volunteer shifts are open to ANY middle and high school students and any member of the PTO can sign off on Community Service hours!

If you want to help with any volunteer spots, but cannot commit to the full time slot, please sign up anyway and let us know your availability at volunteercoordinator@yujingakuenpto.com.
