2025 Bearrison Street Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

Join us in promoting the LEATHER & LGBTQ Cultural District at this year’s Bearrison Street Fair on Saturday, October 18th! The street fair is from 12 am to 6 pm. Volunteering at the Outreach and Gear Swap n Sales Booth is a fun way to connect with community.
Set-up:
- Arrive at 9 am to help set up our outreach booth.
- Hang banners and set up tent canopy.
- Arrange promotional materials at the table.

Outreach Booth

- Warmly greet patrons who come to the booth
- Shares information about the District (palm cards available at the booth that lists what the District does!)
- Encourage folx to join our newsletter list, volunteer, become a member as a means to support and know what is going on within the District
- Build positive relationships with community members
- Sell bandanas/pins (Training provided by Cal)

Gear Swap n Sales - The Gear Swap n Sales have become an important source of revenue to support the Leather District's programs and events while giving community members access to fetish gear and toys at affordable prices.
- Set up an appealing display for the merchandise
- Assist visitors in choosing new or gently used gear and toys
- Restock tables and racks as needed.
- Assist Team Leads in making sales.

Tear Down

- Arrive at 5:30 pm to assist with the breakdown and storage of the outreach booth materials
- Take down banners and help with organization back into bins.
- Break down tent canopy.

We ask all our volunteers to please report to the Outreach Booth 15 minutes prior to the beginning of your shift to check in and for any additional instructions. You will report to Cal (District Manager).

We will send out additional information as we learn where our booth will be set up at Folsom Street Fair! We are so excited to see you there and thank you for your support!
