Free Press Fest volunteer signup sheet
Join the events team at Montana Free Press to help run the inaugural Free Press Fest, September 5-7 at the University of Montana's University Center. Designed to promote civic engagement, celebrate Montana’s rich culture, and empower attendees to actively participate in shaping the future of our state, Free Press Fest 2024 will feature keynotes, panels, and workshops with thought leaders, policy experts, independent journalists, and engaged Montana citizens.
Free Press Fest needs help with registration and ticket sales, ticket takers, at each conference session venue, session ushers to direct traffic and help the production team, plus some special events assistance.
REGISTRATION TEAM - Check In Pass Holders, Will Call ticket pickup, Pass and Ticket sales, merchandise sales, etc.
TICKET TAKER - manage session entry, collect tickets from attendees, check in pass holders
SESSION USHER - assist production team with patron management, help folks find seats, assist speakers and panel participants, relay messages
SPECIAL EVENT TEAM - assist with VIP cocktail reception, setting up furniture and signage, help patrons locate event, clear rubbish and used dishes, event cleanup, etc.
Volunteers receive a Free Press Fest volunteer tee and tickets to two Free Press Fest sessions to attend outside their shift or share with a friend.
