Stamp Out Hunger is the nation's largest single-day food drive. In 2018, generous postal carriers collected 100,000 pounds of non-perishable food from the community while on their delivery route. This food is then delivered to community food banks, pantries, and shelters, providing families in need with a lifeline of basic nutrition.
With kids out of school lunch programs and the departure of our winter guests, RCS’s food needs increase greatly during the summer months. The Stamp Out Hunger initiative helps the RCS food bank continue to serve our community throughout the year.
We appreciate your consideration in lending your time and efforts to RCS. It is community supporters like you who are providing help and hope to those in need.
