Saturday Nov. 1, 2025 The Event starts at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Meet: Lower Parking Lot at Monora Park
This is a Town of Mono Event, run by the Recreation Department. Town Organizers on site: Kim Heaton and Emma Holmes
The Town of Mono supports Mono Nordic in a multitude of ways... In return, we support them.
The Club will provide the cider and cups but request that the Town supplies the pot, ladle, propane tank, and burner.
Volunteers REQUIRED:
1. A Lead to secure and set up Community Outreach Resources, and assist serving the cider.
2. Someone to pick up apple juice, cider and some apples and cinnamon and cloves. Past purchase details available. CUPS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED. Submit bills to Treasurer.
3. A Member to run a raffle to promote the Club, Membership and WALK THE TRAILS BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES EVENT on November 8 and 9th. A table will be set up outside just as you enter the trails. Prize is a Family Pass for equipment rental and trail fee on a weekend. This Member will also buy 2 packages of raffle tickets to be handed out to people who bring a mug in order to win a Family Day pass including equipment and trail pass. Ticket winner will be posted on the web site. (Contact Warren Maycock to post the winning number on the Club's web page.)
Volunteers may be asked to assist the Town of Mono in various ways, i.e. set up and run cider stand, carry and place pumpkins along the trail and gather at the end of the event.
