LAST VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN UP FOR BEFORE OUR NEW SEASON STARTS. SECURE YOUR VOLUNTEER HOUR TO QUALIFY FOR THE REDUCED VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP RATE FOR THE 2026 2027 SKI SEASON.
The Event starts at 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

This is a Town of Mono Event, run by the Recreation Department. Town Organizers on site: Kim Heaton, Dave
The Town of Mono supports Mono Nordic in a multitude of ways... In return, we support them.
Volunteers REQUIRED:
1. Looking for someone to take the LEAD on this Event and run for several years. Everything is organized, resource bin provided, set up and take down with Volunteers assisting, explain to Volunteers how to Meet and Greet, promote the Club and run the draw. Mentorship provided and Crew Volunteers secured.
1. Pre-event, assist the town in multiple ways, remind people to bring a mug, donation for food bank.
2. Two Members who enjoy engaging people and like to promote the Club. They will run a DRAW with a prize of Equipment and trail fee for 4, promote the Club, Membership and the "WALK THE TRAILS BEFORE THE SNOW FLIES EVENT" on November 14 and 15th. We will only be HANGING OUR BANNER, perhaps take our two Mono Chairs and sit along the path, handing out DRAW TICKETS for a Ski Day Pass for 4 people for a Sat. or Sun. Equipment and trail pass.
3. Draw Ticket winner will be posted on the web site. (Contact Katherine Gregoire (647-639-4918) to post the winning number on the Club's web page.)
Volunteers may be asked to assist the Town of Mono in various ways, i.e. set up and run cider stand, carry and place pumpkins along the trail and gather at the end of the event.
