Teens in grades 6-12 can sign up to volunteer at the Library. We appreciate your commitment to volunteer at the Library, and it is your responsibility to arrive on time (if you are running late or unable to make it, please call and speak with a Reference Librarian); the number is (973) 762-0230. As of March 4, 2022, the mask mandate remains in place and you will have to wear a mask inside of the building. Please sign in/out of the green binder (at the Reference Desk), and stay for the duration of your shift to receive full credit. A list of program descriptions are below. Thank You!
Descriptions of Programs:
- Tech Teens - Seniors can work one-on-one with a knowledgeable teen volunteer to provide technology assistance.
- Chess Volunteers are teens who assist other players to play chess. You don't have to be a Chess Master, but experience helps.
- Teen Library Advocates (TLA) is a community service group for students in middle school and high school that meets once a month.

IN JUNE, we will do some art projects for our Kick-Off party for Summer Reading which will be on Monday June 27.
